Bayern Munich Dominates Union Berlin 7–0: Olise Hat Trick and Kane's Double

The Allianz Arena will host the NFL in November. Bayern Munich are making sure the end zones are already broken in.

On a night when the scoreline looked ripped from Harry Kane’s other favorite sport, Bayern dismantled Union Berlin 7–0, with Michael Olise hitting a ruthless hat trick and Kane helping himself to two more. This wasn’t a win. It was a statement.

Musiala Lights the Fuse

Union held out for 18 minutes. Then Jamal Musiala found the angle and Bayern found their rhythm.

Alphonso Davies, gliding down the left in that familiar blur, picked out Musiala in space. The Canada international’s pass invited a strike and Musiala didn’t hesitate, whipping a long-range effort beyond Frederik Rønnow to open the floodgates.

From there, Union were chasing shadows.

Kane from the Spot, Olise Enters the Stage

Kane, who will watch his beloved New England Patriots take on the Detroit Lions on this very turf on November 15, got his own Allianz Arena scoreline to savor.

Just over 20 minutes after Musiala’s opener, Bayern earned a penalty. Kane stepped up, did what Kane does, and buried it. Clinical, cold, inevitable.

The game was already slipping away from Union when the next wave hit. Musiala turned creator, sliding a ball into Michael Olise before the break. The 24-year-old, fresh from being named in Zinedine Zidane’s first France national team squad, finished the chance to start what would become his own personal highlight reel.

By half-time, Bayern weren’t just leading. They were toying with their visitors.

Bischof Sparks the Rout, Olise Takes Over

Vincent Kompany turned to his bench and found more firepower. Tom Bischof came on and immediately stitched himself into the narrative.

Twice the substitute linked with Olise in the second half, and twice Union paid for it. Olise drifted between the lines, popped up in pockets of space, and punished every lapse. He also turned provider, squaring for Kane to slot home in the 54th minute for Bayern’s fifth of the night.

The pressure was relentless. Union’s defensive line dropped deeper, then deeper still, yet Bayern kept finding ways through.

Ismael Saibari joined the party on 70 minutes, finishing off another Davies delivery. The left-back’s second assist underlined his influence, stretching the pitch and shredding any remaining Union resistance.

Then Olise finished the job.

His second and third goals arrived in quick succession, the hat trick sealed with another long-range strike that left Rønnow helpless. It was the kind of hit that draws a collective intake of breath even in a stadium accustomed to greatness.

Seven goals. A hat trick. A double. And the sense that Bayern could have gone on and scored more.

Bayern’s Attack in Full Flight

Olise now has eight goals in seven matches across all competitions for Bayern since returning from the World Cup. Kane sits on six in that same stretch. Those are not just good numbers; they’re title-winning numbers.

Bayern remain unbeaten this season. A scoreless draw with Schalke on September 5 cost them a perfect Bundesliga record and left them trailing Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table coming into the weekend, but this performance carried the air of a side unconcerned by early standings.

They have already racked up 14 league goals, and with Kompany’s attack humming like this, the Allianz Arena scoreboards might need reinforcement before the Patriots and Lions arrive.

American football will have its night in Munich. Right now, though, Bayern look determined to make sure no visiting team, from any sport, outguns them on their own turf.
