Leeds United Faces Chelsea in EFL Cup Clash

Leeds United’s EFL Cup Third Round trip to Chelsea has been locked in for Wednesday 9th September, with an 8pm kick-off under the Stamford Bridge lights and live coverage on Sky Sports Main Event.

It is a fixture loaded with fresh memory. The sides met three times last season, a mini-series that tilted dramatically when Leeds ripped into Chelsea at Elland Road. That night, the Whites ignited a superb run of form with a 3-1 win, powered by goals from Jaka Bijol, Ao Tanaka and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. It was more than a result; it felt like a statement.

Now they meet again, this time in the capital, with a place in the Fourth Round on the line and television cameras tracking every tackle.

Leeds will travel south knowing they have already shown they can hurt Chelsea. Chelsea, stung by that Elland Road defeat, will not have forgotten either.

Ticket details, including prices and allocation, will be confirmed by the club in due course, with away fans already eyeing another big night in West London.
