UND Women’s Soccer Faces NDSCS for Historic First Meeting
GRAND FORKS, N.D. – A small slice of program history arrives Sunday afternoon in Grand Forks.
For the first time, the University of North Dakota women’s soccer team will share a pitch with North Dakota State College of Science, as the Fighting Hawks close out their 2026 nonconference schedule at Bronson Field. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. (CT) on Sept. 20.
The series record is blank – tied 0-0-0 – and that alone gives this matchup a different feel. No past meetings to lean on, no familiar storylines to recycle. Just two programs stepping into something new, with UND using the occasion as a final tune-up before the grind of Summit League play begins.
Bronson Field has already seen its share of early-season narratives, but Sunday offers a clean reset: one last chance to sharpen combinations, tighten defensive shape, and lock in a starting rhythm before conference points are on the line. The stakes are simple, and that’s what makes them sharp.
Every moment will be there for fans to track. All UND home matches air on the Summit League Network through the Midco Sports Plus app, the league’s exclusive digital home and a hub that pushes out more than 600 live events each year. Every Fighting Hawks home and road conference contest will run through that same platform, giving supporters a clear path to follow the season from opening whistle to final horn.
For those who prefer their updates in real time on their phones, the program’s digital heartbeat runs through @UNDsoccer on X, with additional coverage on Facebook and Instagram under the same handle. Matchday storylines, statistics, and deeper coverage live on FightingHawks.com.
A fresh opponent. A final nonconference test. A blank series record waiting for its first entry.
Bronson Field will write the opening line.
