According to a source speaking to In Touch, Hamilton’s friends believe his growing relationship with Kim Kardashian is already reshaping his priorities. The seven-time world champion, they say, can’t switch off.
“Lewis has Kim on his mind 24/7 even when they aren't together,” the source claims. “He's constantly texting her and the moment he's done at practice, he's on the phone with her or hopping on a private jet to go meet her.”
That intensity raised eyebrows after a bruising weekend in Madrid. Brake issues forced the 41-year-old to retire from the Spanish Grand Prix on Sunday, September 13, cutting short a race that mattered both for pride and for the championship picture. Instead of stewing over the failure or burying himself in debriefs, Hamilton reportedly headed straight for an escape.
He was “off to Lake Como with Kim to frolic around like he hadn't just blown this huge race,” the source says. For some around him, that reaction jarred. “That shocked people who worry he's making his time with her more important than anything else.”
Hamilton has never hidden how difficult it is to balance Formula 1 with a personal life. Just last year, he admitted the strain of trying to have both. Speaking to RTBF, as relayed by Sporting News, he contrasted his own path with that of other drivers.
